Snowfly started in 1999 with a view to build incentives software. Dr Brooks Mitchell, Snowfly founder and CEO, wanted to assist organizations with a positive reinforcement rewards and recognition system.
However, rather than build a cookie-cutter SaaS platform, Snowfly takes the approach towards employee engagement a step further. It uses gamification-based techniques and a data-driven approach for real-time incentives. Hence, rather than rely on manager inputs, the platform uses AI to actively identify and reward stellar employee performance.
Unfortunately, Snowfly reviews on Capterra aren’t the best. There are only 18 reviews in total, with a rating of 4.1 out of 5. That’s far lower than reviews for other employee recognition and reward platforms.
Snowfly offers a free trial but declines from disclosing specific pricing details. It says that clients stick to the product for an average of 5 years and that it serves customers in diverse fields.
An alternative to Snowfly is Bucketlist, a similar employee recognition and rewards platform that’s aimed to improve internal culture and staff happiness.
